What's My Story?

Every portrait tells a story, here’s mine.

I’m Ravi Putcha, the photographer behind 10K Portraits.

Before photography became my profession, I spent over 15 years in IT services, working in process design, service quality, and middle management roles in large organizations. Those years shaped how I think — about systems, responsibility, standards, and what it means to deliver work that truly serves people.

Over time, I realized I do my best work in environments where care, thoughtfulness, and integrity are more important than urgency and when competing agendas don't exist. I wanted to build something simple and more intentional — a space where I could take full responsibility for the quality of what I offer.

Portrait photography became that space.

A portrait is not just a photograph. It represents how someone shows up in the world — professionally, personally, and socially. That carries weight. I approach it with the same seriousness I once brought to service quality and process design, but now in a more human, focused, and creative way.

Why 10K Portraits

10K Portraits reflects a long-term commitment to mastery — improving through continuous improvement. It’s not a studio with staff members. It’s just me. I handle everything myself, from planning to the final delivery. That keeps the process clear, accountable, and consistent.

How I Work (My Service Standards)

My background influences how I run this service. Clients don’t just get photographs — they get a structured, thoughtful experience.

  • Transparent pricing

  • Clearly explained process

  • Defined timelines

  • No guesswork, no hidden conditions.

Professional Discipline

  • Careful planning before the session

  • Respect for time — yours and mine

  • No rushing, no shortcuts, no “jugaad” fixes

  • We take the time required to get things right.

Safety & Privacy

  • No judgment about how you look

  • Your personal information is never shared

  • Your images are used in my portfolio only unless you opt out

  • I treat every client with dignity and discretion

You should never have to chase me for updates or delivery. If I commit to something, I follow through.

What Makes This Work Well

This service is built on mutual respect and clarity. It works best when clients:

  • Trust professional guidance during the process

  • Respect timelines and payment terms

  • Value quality over negotiation

Prices are fixed so the focus stays on the work, not bargaining. When expectations are clear on both sides, the experience remains calm, focused, and productive.

I look forward to creating portraits you can stand behind — images that represent you with clarity and integrity.
